Schedule Types

Use Weekly Schedule to chart weekly availability or specific dates.
Use Dates Unavailable to cancel lessons or provide unavailable dates in one or a range of days. Then use Available Times to suggest possible makeups (if allowed).
Use General for complex scheduling arrangements

Simple cancellation with no further lesson adjustments.

Lesson times will be adjusted as schedule permits.

Reschedule only applies to a single canceled lesson that has been rescheduled by agreement.

Time format examples:

Type "0700am" to get 07:00 am.
You must precede single digit hours with zero.
You don't need to type the colon or space.

Cancellation Policy

Online lessons

Lesson Schedules – Please use my online form to schedule, reschedule, and cancel lessons.
Student Cancellations (SC) – Students may cancel one lesson per semester (two lessons for split lessons) during the school year and will receive makeup lessons for them.
- A 24-hour advance notice of a cancellation is normally required.
- However, I will make up cancellations made on the same day in the case of illness.
Teacher Cancellations (TC) – I will make up all lessons that I cancel.

In-person lessons

The cancellation and makeup policy for in-person lessons is set by the New Mexico School of Music as follows:

Student Cancellations (SC) – Students may cancel one lesson per semester during the school year and will receive a makeup lesson.
- A 24-hour advance notice of a cancellation is normally required.
- However, no one wants to teach a sick student so we do accept cancellations on the same day in the case of illness.
Teacher Cancellations (TC) – Teachers must make up all lessons that they cancel. This can be done by extending the length of several lessons, or scheduling a separate makeup lesson.
Scheduling Makeups – We will coordinate makeups with the NMSM or arrange a convenient online lesson.
